This week’ new food adventure was the House of Hummus. They have two locations, one being on Hertel Avenue and the other being on Elmwood on that little food steip between Utica and Hodge. I went to the latter.
I ordered the Falafel Plate, which was as pictured, hummus, falafel, rice and some tomato salad. It wasn’t bad, I could have done without the salad mainly because it was in some type of sauce that made everything in it soggy and the texture wasn’t really it for me.
The plate was $12 but since I added rice it was a dollar upcharge. The food was cool. I would come back again, but I wouldn’t be pressed to do so, if that makes sense.
Have you ever had House of Hummus? How did you like it?
